Eastern Medicine Modalities

For each appointment, your practitioner will evaluate your situation and utilize whichever modalities they feel like will help you the most. The exception is MicroNeedling Facial Rejuvenation, which is it's own separate appointment.

Also, because we believe you are in the driver's seat when it comes to your body and decisions about your health, we encourage you to ask questions. Feel free to ask for explanations or specific modalities if you'd like to try something new.

Acupuncture

The gentle insertion of very thin, sterile needles into specific points on the body. Acupuncture can be used to treat nearly all ailments from stress, muscle tension and headaches to IBS, insomnia, & menopausal syndromes.

Esoteric Acupuncture

Needles serve as antennas to attune our energetic grid & when placed in geometric patterns, they tap into healing frequencies. It is a wonderful way to access quantum level information, great for releasing mental and emotional blockages, & harmonize the mind, body and spirit connections. It can also be used when progress with regular acupuncture sessions has stalled or to balance & strengthen our whole system to prevent disease from manifesting.

MicroNeedling

A modality with it's origins in Eastern Medicine but in modern society has become wildly popular for treating fine lines, acne, discoloration, large pores, and hair loss. We utilize a high tech tool with a tiny points on the tip and incorporate traditional herbs topicals for an even more effective treatment.

Eastern Medicine Prescriptions

A herbal prescription will be formulated according to the individual patient's pattern. These formulas can be modified through the evolution of the healing process.

Cupping

Glass or plastic cups are used to create a localized vacuum-like suction, sometimes combined with acupuncture or heat. Cupping can increase circulation & loosen tight muscles.

E-Stim/ Electric Stimulation

The application of a mild electrical current to acupuncture needles allowing for prolonged stimulation of points. Or using a specialized tool to directly apply a frequency to acupuncture points.

Guasha

A scraping technique typically using a stone tool to move stagnation and increase circulation in muscles.
