MicroNeedling does obviously involve needles, but we do everything we can to make it as comfortable as possible.
We use a top-of-the line, professional-grade MicroNeedling Pen from AcuMicro.
The mechanical action of the pen allows the needles to puncture the skin at 18000 RPM and create a controlled injury at a specific depth. Cheap, knock-off pens have poor oscillation and speed, do not offer appropriate depth control, or anti-backflow tips, so are not a safe option. Each puncture by the AcuMicro Pen creates a channel in the upper layers of the skin that trigger the body's natural healing process to fill these micro wounds by producing new collagen and elastin.
In addition, new capillaries are formed for improved blood supply. The premium, one-time use needle tips we utilize have some of the thinnest, stainless-steel needles on the market. We also offer NanoNeedling that uses microscopic silicone cones instead of needles. Since it is more gentle, it can be done more frequently.

Serums
MicroNeedling increases product absorption, so we combine it with All-Natural, specialty Eastern Medicine serums to enhance each treatment. We utilize Hyaluronic Acid (HA) as a base for all our topicals. HA is a substance found naturally in our skin that holds water and keeps it hydrated and plump. We will combine HA with Apple Stem Cells for deep hydration, to heal the skin and encourage cellular rejuvenation.
(If a sensitivity to HA occurs, Vegetable Glycerin can be used as a substitute medium during the MicroNeedling treatment.)

What to Expect
You will likely be pink to red for about 4 -24 hours.
Some have temporary stinging/ burning/ itching similar to sunburn, during & directly after the treatment. Aloe Vera may help decrease redness & irritation.
*DO use the custom topical included with your treatment, when you feel dry and before bed tonight. If you notice peeling, it is likely extra topical. Applying a little water will help it absorb some more.
*DO only use mineral sunscreen for at least one week after treatment.
*Stay out of the sun, wind, & dust, avoid due to increased facial sensitivity.
*Do NOT use Soap on your Face today. Only einse with warm water only.
*NO make-up the day of treatment and ideally only use mineral make-up for the first few days as well.
*NO Exercise or swimming day of treatment. Sweat, chlorine, & salt water can irritate the face.
Day after treatment:
You may return to your mostly- normal face routine, but NO Retinol or Vitamin C for one week.
Facial products will have a much higher absorption in the days following MicroNeedling, so try to use gentle, high-quality products. Continue using the custom serum daily. Apply to a clean face and allow to dry, before the rest of your beauty products.
Follow Up:
It takes 2 weeks to see the full results from your treatment.
You must wait 1 month between MicroNeedling sessions.
However, Nano treatments are more gentle and can be done weekly to speed up results.
Recommended Treatment Protocols
Just like nearly every natural, therapeutic option, this is not typically a one and done treatment.This is not a face lift or botox, so do not expect those kind of results. That said, we have seen pretty wonderful outcomes from this modality that encourages your body to heal itself in a natural way. Results are typically seen between 4-6 MicroNeedling sessions, so four monthly sessions is the minimum suggested course of treatment. Effects can be enhanced by incorporating NanoNeedling and whole body acupuncture for a more Holistic approach.
